The MABC is pleased to present Vera Berard as our September Midwife of the Month as part of our 20 Year Anniversary Series that celebrates founding BC midwives. Vera was one of the first registered midwives in BC in 1998 and tells a fascinating story of early BC midwifery and the factors that led to regulation.
