Board of Directors

The MABC Board of Directors is an elected body of no more than 10 representatives, including one non-voting student representative from the UBC Midwifery Program.

The Board is tasked with the governance of the organization. The Board defines the strategic direction of the MABC and ensures that the strategic direction meets the on-going, as well as the changing needs of the membership as a whole.

The Board is made up of members at large as well as three Executive members including the two Co-Chairs and Treasurer. Board positions come up for re-election at the Annual General Meeting of the MABC.

The MABC Board of Directors meets six to eight times a year.
