MABC would like to introduce three valuable additions to our team.

As an academic, Danette is leading provincial and national research to improve Indigenous peoples' access to abortion and contraception care, as well as create more sustainability in Indigenous birth work.
Danette's work aims to advance reproductive justice for Indigenous people and parents, a project near to her heart as an urban mixed-blood woman and mother with Cree, Saulteaux, French, Jewish, German, Scottish, and English ancestry. In this new role, Danette looks forward to supporting the Indigenous Midwives Advisory Council and the MABC in their shared goals related to reconciliation and Indigenous self-determination in midwifery.
