North Island Midwives
North Island Midwives offers antenatal, birth and post partum services for clients all over Northern Vancouver Island. Currently low risk clients can plan to birth at home or the Port Hardy Hospital. Due to lack of C-section availability, higher risk clients are recommended to transfer out of their communities for birthing to midwives/GPs/OBs down island (usually Campbell River or Courtney/Comox).
